In preparation for the Customs and Excise Act 2018 we are offering to do a brief audit of data you have been sending to NZ Customs to identify any potential issues. Specifically we’re trying to identify areas where the information being sent is probably not quite correct but is not causing rejections.
We would ask for some examples of shipments that you’ve done that cover a range of typical scenarios, and we would then check the data sent to Customs for any obvious issues. We would also present the data we found back to you in a readable format in case you spot anything that looks incorrect. Time for this will vary depending on how deep we go, but typically 1-2 hours all up would be expected for a typical range of shipments. Please note that this time would come at our standard hourly support rates.
