CPTPP (formerly TPPA) is nearly in effect

The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) will come into effect on 30th December 2018.

On this date Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Singapore will be covered with Viet Nam joining on 14th January 2019 and Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Malaysia and Peru expected to ratify during 2019.

The Chamber of Commerce have prepared some great advice for exporters, which can be viewed here.

We are intending to create a CPTPP Certificate of Origin for Prodoc customers which will be available to those who need it.  Since there is no standard format we are attempting to produce a document that will be acceptable for all countries and products such that everyone using Prodoc produces the same document to aid in consistency.
